Gerry Booth

Gerry Norman Booth, 65, passed away on Fri. Aug. 13, 2021 at Merit Health Rankin Hospital in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held on Sun. Aug. 15, 2021 from 5pm-7pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS and on Mon. Aug. 16, 2021 from 12pm-12:45pm at Grace Baptist Church in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 1pm on Mon. Aug. 16, 2021 at Grace Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS.

Mr. Booth was born on April 12, 1956 in Starkville, MS to the late Thomas Allen Booth and Shirley Smith Booth. He was currently a resident of Brandon, MS where he was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Mr. Booth's passion in life was being a Police Officer and a Firefighter. He also enjoyed reading.

He is survived by his wife, Kala Miley Booth; two sons, Tim Booth (Cynthia) and Steve Neely (Shamra); 9 grandchildren, Taylor Neely, Kelsey Tollison, Aubrie Shoemaker, Lily Taylor, Naomi Neely, Noah Neely, Joseph Booth, Matthew Booth and Patrick Booth; 2 great grandchildren, Caiden Neely and Bryson Neely; his brother, Tom Booth (Amy); daughter in law, Amy Hilton (Mike); step mother, Lucille Booth and several aunts and cousins. Mr. Booth was also preceded in death by his son, Brad Neely and a sister, Denise Booth.
