John Baggett

John Michael Baggett, age 61, a lifelong resident of Forest died  Saturday, October 26, 2019.

Visitation will be held from 9am till 10:30m prior to the 11am  service on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at the chapel of the Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest with Reverend Milton Koon officiating.  Musicians are soloist, Madyson Gibson, and pianist,  Irene Martin.  Graveside services will not be held, the family will remain to visit with friends following the service.  The final resting place is in the Homewood Methodist Cemetery.

Mr. Baggett was  employed with Fed-Ex at the time of his death.  He was a longtime member of the Forest Baptist Church.  He loved being outdoors, farming and agriculture.  He loved his dogs and enjoyed watersports.  For several years, he and his wife owned and operated a wholesale hydroponic cut flower operation with distribution in a 5 state area.  Of all the wonderful things in his life, he loved his family immensely.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace Baggett and Thelma  “Bess”   Haralson Baggett.

Survivors include his wife of  37 years, Sheree  Tadlock  Baggett,  a daughter Abigail Sara Baggett both of  Forest,  a brother, Dr. Horace Baggett of Hattiesburg, 2 sisters; Sharon Baggett Carnathan (Neil)  of  New Smyrna Beach, FL and Dr. Barbara Baggett of  New York.  Father-in-law, Bob Tadlock,  Mother-in-law, Jane Tadlock, brothers-in-law Chris Tadlock (Amy) and Bobby Tadlock (Meshalle)  all of Forest.

Pallbearers are Hiram Richardson, Tim Jones, Todd Burns, Warren Wallace, Randy Gibson, and Gary Jones.
