Annie Sheppard

Annie Mae Sheppard, 92, a resident of Brandon, MS passed away November 22, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. A graveside service will be held 1 pm Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Andrew Chapel Cemetery in Brandon, MS.

Mrs. Sheppard was born March 29, 1926 in Hazlehurst, MS to John Francis Garver and Thelma Mae Smith Garver. She was married to Howard Sheppard. Mrs. Sheppard was a beautician for many years. She was a member of Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church in Brandon, MS. She loved her family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Mrs. Sheppard was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Sheppard; grandson, John McFarland, II; parents, John Francis Garver and Thelma Mae Smith Garver and her brother, Johnny Garver.

Mrs. Sheppard is survived by her daughter, Julia (John) McFarland; son, Bart Sheppard; five grandchildren; Donna Sheppard (Scott) Ryals, Stephanie (Tony) McEwen, Joshua McFarland, Jeremy McFarland and his fiancé, Ashley Pepper and Joseph McFarland four great grandchildren; and a host of friends.
