Charles Thornton

Mr. Charles G. Thornton, age 69, a resident of Brandon MS passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022, at home surrounded by his family. Born on June 27, 1952, to Carroll and Betty Coke Thornton in Hazlehurst MS. Hobbies of Charles were Fishing, telling stories, working on his house, he was good at playing board games and spending time with his family brought him great joy.

Preceded him in death by his parents, Carroll and Betty Thornton, brother, Carroll Thornton. Survived by his wife, Linda Thornton, four children, Chaz Thornton, Michelle Watson, Stacy Creel (Charlie), Jeanette Craven, one sister, Patricia Hood (Jerry), brother, Lynn Thornton, cousin, Nell Barnes, niece, Rachael McKellar, Nephews, Chris Hood, Nick Hood (April), fourteen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 12:00pm to 2:00pm October 16, 2022, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton, MS, with a Memorial Service to follow at 2:00pm there in the Chapel.
