Charles Hopper

Charles Sidney Hopper Brandon, Mississippi Charles Sidney Hopper, 91, passed away at home Friday, January 30, 2015. Visitation will be 2:00pm until 4:00pm Sunday, February 1, 2015, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Services will be 10:00am Monday, February 2, 2015, at Oakdale Baptist Church with burial in Oakdale Cemetery. Dr. Rick Henson and Rev. Mike Hudson will officiate the service. Charles was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church in Brandon and was a past Deacon and current Sunday School teacher. He was a proud Navy Veteran of World War II. He loved fishing, hunting and working in his garden. Charles is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Audrey Allen Hopper; son, Charles Lawrence Hopper and wife Louise; daughter, Sandra Hopper Sullivan and husband, Harold; grandchildren of “BIG DADDY”, Tony Hopper, Barry Hopper and wife Deborah, Kattie Carlisle and husband, Josh, Lori Sullivan and Fiancé, Brian Higdon; great grandchildren, Samual Charles Hopper, Megan Hopper, Macie Hopper, James Hopper, Abby Carlisle and Cade Carlisle. Pallbearers will be Tony Hopper, Barry Hopper, Josh Carlisle, Ron Allen, Ralph Dove and Harold Sullivan. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of Charles’ Senior Men’s Sunday School Class.
