Dean Warren

July 6, 1933 — December 27, 2014

Mrs. Dean Triplett Goolsby Warren of Brandon, passed away on Sat. Dec. 27, 2014 at her home from complications of Alzheimer’s disease. Visitation will be on Sun. Dec. 28, 2014 from 2pm-5pm at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. and on Mon. Dec. 29, 2014 from 10am-10:45am at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Pelahatchie, MS. Funeral Services are 11am Mon. Dec. 29, 2014 at the Shiloh United Methodist Church in Pelahatchie, MS with burial following in the church cemetery. Rev. David Slaughter will officiate the services.
Mrs. Warren was born in Carthage, Mississippi on July 6, 1933 to Wiley Pierce and Tallulah Cornelia Triplett. Mrs. Warren graduated from Carthage High School and Draughan’s Business College. She worked at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Mississippi and then went into business for herself under the name of Warren Egg Farm. She was an active member of Shiloh United Methodist Church and of the Shiloh Homemakers Club. Of all her greatest achievements, it would be the love and time that she had for all of her family and friends.
Mrs. Warren is preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Doris Johnston, her first husband, Bobby Kipling Goolsby, a baby boy, Billy Kipling Goolsby, several sisters/ brother-in-laws and other immediate relatives.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Russell Warren, children, Mike (Cathy) Goolsby of Brandon, MS, Mary Ellen (Randy) Robbins of Fredericksburg, VA and Vickie Lou (Don) Flowers of Brandon, MS, seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, a sister, Ms. Frankie Hartsfield, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Warren is also survived by two sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law.
The family would like to express our extreme gratitude and love to her caregivers, Becky Hamilton, Dorothy Morris, Nickie Shoemaker and Joni Himes who have taken such wonderful care of our Wife, Mother and Grandmother.
The family requests memorials be made to the Shiloh United Methodist Church Building Fund, 2394 Shiloh Road, Pelahatchie, MS 39145.
