Donald Cole

Donald Winford Cole, age 73, a resident of Puckett, MS passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at his home in Puckett, MS surrounded by his family. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Puckett Cemetery in Puckett, MS.

Mr. Cole was born September 20, 1947 in Jackson, MS to W.Q. Cole, Jr. and Ruby Jean Little Cole. He was married to Mary Jo Gober Cole. Mr. Cole worked for Bellsouth for many years before retiring. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He enjoyed gardening and hearing from his family and friends when they would call. He loved his family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Mr. Cole was preceded in death by his parents, W.Q. Cole, Jr. and Ruby Jean Little Cole.

Mr. Cole is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Jo Cole; daughter, Angelia Cole (Rev. Mark) Hanna; grandchildren, Halee Banks and Gatlyn Wade; sisters, Sherry Hearn and Silvia McDaniel; brother, Gary (Rieneke) Cole; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
