Eric Bryan Shoemaker, 29, a resident of Brandon has gone to be in the presence of the Lord. There will be a memorial service at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS beginning at 1 pm Thursday, February 5, 2015. Visitation will be held 5-7 pm Wednesday, February 4, 2015 and 12-1 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Rev. Claude Shufelt will officiate the services. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon.
Eric was a native of Rankin County. He was the son of Carol Lankford and Terry Shoemaker. He worked in the construction industry several years. He attended Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon, MS. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors. He was great man that loved his family very much and will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Eric was a preceded in death by grandparents, Bessie Mae Shoemaker and Bryant Shoemaker; aunt, Jean Shoemaker and uncle Jimmy Kelly.
Eric is survived by his parents, Terry and Carol Lankford Shoemaker; grandparents, Noel and Claire Lankford; aunts, Debbie Porter and her husband Barry, Lynn Hubbard and her husband Hugh Jeff, Cleo Hines and her husband Billy and Annette Kelly; numerous cousins and a host of friends.
Serving and honoring Eric as honorary pallbearers will be Blake Hubbard, Adam Hubbard, Michael Porter, Brian Knowles, Johnny Hines, Billy Wayne Hines, Grant Guyse and Jose Duran.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Home of Grace at 14200 Jericho Road Vancleave, MS, 39565.
