Mrs. Fletta Phillips, a resident of Polkville MS passed away on November 17, 2021 in Raleigh MS.
Mrs. Fletta was born on May 2, 1938 to Pascal and Mildred Hudson Huff in Carol Parish , LA. She was married to Jimmie Phillips and they had four children. She was a member of Polkville United Pentecostal Church and was active till her health declined. Enjoyment in life included, gardening, both, flowers and vegetables, she loved fishing and taking trips, but the love for her family brought her great joy.
Visitation will be from 9:00am to 11:00am, Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Polkville United Pentecostal Church with funeral services beginning at 11:00 am. Bro. Barron Price and Bro. Jeremy Price will be officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Pascal and Mildred Huff and six siblings; Nellie Ray Traxler, Jimmy Huff, Jonny R. Huff, Elzy Huff, Jerry Huff and Dorothy Beatty.
Survivors include her husband: Jimmie Phillips; two daughters; Sheila Parkman (Doug) and Shelby Nichols ( Larry); two stepsons: Steve Phillips and Stan Phillips; two siblings: Annette Tadlock and Leslie Huff; three grandchildren: Brandon Parkman (Tori), Dustin Parkman (Doci), and Jordan Nichols (Lafayeyye); seven great grandchildren; Holden Parkman, Emmie Lou Parkman, Brook Phillips, Bubba Phillips, Lanie Parkman, Logan Parkman and Huxton Parkman.
Funeral services are entrusted with Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
