James Allen “Jack” Kimble, 42, passed away Sat. May 1, 2021 in Hattiesburg, MS. Visitation will be held on Fri. May 7, 2021 from 10am-10:45am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 11am at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS.  Burial will follow in Shiloh United Methodist Church in Rankin County.

Jack was born Dec. 10, 1978 in Jackson, MS the son of Bobby Joe Kimble and Alice Marie Sheely Kimble. Jack’s family moved to Jackson from the Shiloh Community in Rankin County when he was a young child and returned to the Shiloh Community his senior year of high school. After graduation, his first place of employment was the Mississippi State Department of Health and he also worked part time for WLBT TV in Jackson. Later his employment with WLBT turned into a fulltime position. At the time he passed away he was employed at WDAM TV in Hattiesburg, MS.

Survivors include his brother, Christopher Scott Kimble (Lynda); sisters, Tammy Bartholomew and Wendy Sims (Chris) and many aunts and uncles.

The family would especially like to thank Louise Smith (Brian), Krista Snell (Chris), Ricky Bagwell (Hannah), James Crowder, Mike McDaniel, Cody Swindle, MSDH, WLBT TV and WDAM TV friends for befriending and loving our Jack for so many years.
