Joseph John Tuccio, Jr, 67 passed away Tues. Sept. 9, 2014 at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held from 11am-1:45pm on Friday, Sept. 12, 2014 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Richland, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Friday, Sept. 12, 2014 in the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Richland, MS.
Mr. Tuccio was born on July 19, 1947 in Vicksburg, MS to the late Joe J. Tuccio, Sr and Dorothy Lambert Tuccio and was a resident of Brandon, MS since 1998. Mr. Tuccio was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Catholic Church in Vicksburg, MS. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf, but most of all he loved spending time with his granddaughters.
Mr. Tuccio is survived by his wife, Gena Tuccio; son, Joseph J. Tuccio III (Paula); step daughter, Leagh Jenkins; sister, Dorothy T. Hozmann (William); two brothers, Ben D. Tuccio and Paul E. Tuccio; two granddaughters, Riley Jenkins and Loey Jenkins. He is also survived by his two loving dogs, Precious and Peaches.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital Atten: Memorial Honor Program at 1 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38148-0552.
