Larry Jordan, age 70, a resident of Forest, died Thursday, November 13, 2014. He was a retired truck driver with MCH Trucking Company. He was a Baptist by faith and enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking out (grilling) and spending time with his family, especially, his step-children, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren. His dogs, Cocoa and Bozo, were special to him also. He will be remembered for his giving spirit, always lending a helping hand to those in need.
He is survived by his companion and dear friend: Emma Dee Harvey of Forest and her children: Jimmy Lynn Stewart and Patricia Havard, both of Forest and Bobby Ray Stewart of Arkansas; step-children: Mike Davis, Bo Davis, and Donna Davis all of Louisiana; step-grandchildren: Amber Stewart, Allen Havard, Jimmy Wayne Stewart, Steven Paul Stewart, Joseph Stewart, Michael Lee Stewart, Kyland Stewart, and Amanda Havard; step-great-grandchildren: Karlee Stewart and Tyler Stewart; one sister: Jean Choules; one half-sister: Bonnie Kelly; one sister-in-law: Diane Fisher; a host of nieces and nephews; one cousin whom he loved like a sister: Doris Carr.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Clarence and Bonnie Mae Rowell Jordan; one sister: Linda Faye Sawyer and one brother: Harold Jordan; and one step-son: James Davis.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to James Adam, Frankie Rogers, and all the nurses for their care and concern during their loved one's illness.
