Marlon Irby

Thomas Marlon Irby, 83 of Pearl, passed away on Sunday October 25, 2020 with his loving wife by his side.

Funeral services will be 11:00am on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 27, 2020 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon and again on Wednesday from 10:00am until 11:00am.

He was born in Morton, MS on October 28, 1936 to the late Amos Lewis Irby and Letha Estelle Sumrall Irby.

Marlon is survived by his wife of 63 years, Shirley Irby; children, Kala Harrell (Jack), Thomas Wayne Irby, and Donna Sumrall; ten grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Cleo McCollum and Carolyn Boyd (George); and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, John Alvie Irby; grandson, Billy Jason Harrell; son-in-law, Jimmy Scott Sumrall; daughter-in-law, Katrina Joyce Irby; siblings, Lanie Kimble, Amos Marbo Irby, and Letha Estelle Box.
