Rachel R. Bynum, 76, joined her Heavenly Father on Monday, September 21, 2015. Visitation will be 6-8pm on Wednesday at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Services will be 10am Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015 in the chapel of the funeral home with interment to follow in Calvary Presbyterian Cemetery in Mize, MS.
Mrs. Bynum was born in Mize, MS to Bryan Sylvester and Aggie Russell on December 22, 1938. She was a good Christian woman and she was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Pearl, MS. Rachel enjoyed spending time with her family and being a caretaker to them.
Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Jones of Richland, MS and Dorothy DeLoach (Ronnie) of Pearl, MS; granddaughter, Amber Lindsey (Ben); great grandchildren, Damien, Willow, Pyper and Emmett Lindsey, all of whom she dearly loved. She is also survived by a brother, Rudolph Russell and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Hollis E. Bynum and brothers and sisters.
