Robby C. Thompson, age 53 a resident of Brandon died  surrounded by his loving family at the St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson Tuesday March 27, 2018 following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11am Friday March 30, 2018 from the Leesburg Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 5pm to 8pm Thursday March 29, 2018 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home  in  Morton.  Rev. Jon Mark Vanlandingham and Rev. Paul Smith will officiate.

Robby was born on Monday December 14, 1964 in Morton.  He was a 1983 graduate of Pisgah High School.  He was a member of the Leesburg Baptist Church.  Robby was  self-employed.    He  enjoyed the outdoors, loved being with family and friends.  Robby enjoyed life to the fullest.  He was friendly and always looking for ways to help others.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Railey Thompson.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Gail Scroggins Thompson of Brandon;  father, Caray "Ray" Thompson, mother Merle Thompson of Morton;  2 children; Brandi R. Collins (Zach) of Brandon, Kati R. Dunn (Wilson) of Pelahatchie; two sisters, Pennye Dillard (Bill), Paula Evans (Ricky);  a brother Ronny Thompson (Diane Tull-fiance')  all of Morton.

Mr. Thompson also leaves behind a legacy of 4 grandchildren; Patton Collins, Carson Collins, Cash Collins and Stella Dunn.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Hunter Scroggins, Cole McDonald, Zach Evans, Lane Evans, Andy Thompson, Michael Smith, Sam Dillard and Austin Shoemaker.
