Tim Meadows, age 42 a resident of Morton, MS passed away Monday, August 11, 2014 at his home in Morton. Funeral Services were held 2:00 pm Thursday August 14, 2014 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Visitation was held from 09:00 am until 02:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Rev. David Brewer officiated the service.
Tim Meadows was born in Hazlehurst, MS on July 15, 1972. Tim was the son of Lonnie Lee, Meadows, Sr. and Rosie Maxine “Reed” Meadows. He was a resident of Rankin County most of his life and he loved talking with his family and friends. Tim loved listening to his music and watching the “Joy of Painting” with Bob Ross. Tim also enjoyed talking on the telephone, but most of all he loved his dogs Pete and Snoopy. Tim really loved working as a truck driver with his father at the BFI Landfills Waste Management for many years.
Tim was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Lee Meadows, Sr.; daughter, Becky Meadows; brothers, Richard Henry Meadows, and Sylvester Meadows; and niece, Savanna Ward.
He is survived by his mother, Rosie Meadows of Morton; brother, Lonnie Lee Meadows, Jr. of Morton; sister, Rosie Twylene Holmes (Tommy) of Morton; nephews Bryan Lee Holmes of Morton and Thomas D. Holmes of Morton; niece, Brittaney Renee Ward (Dennis)of Monica, PA; great-niece, Danieal June Fleming; aunt, Ruth Millings; uncles, J.C. Meadows, Willie Reed, and Bubba Reed; and a host of cousins, family and friends.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
