Adolphus C. Crotwell Morton Mr. Adolphus C. Crotwell, age 96, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. Visitation was held 2-5pm Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton and 1-1:45pm Monday at the funeral home. Funeral services were held 2pm Monday, May 9, 2016 at the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Line Creek Baptist Cemetery. Bro. Art Kinstley officiated the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Mr. Crotwell was born on October 19, 1919 in Scott County. He loved to fish and work in his garden. Adolphus was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Morton. He owned and operated a service station in Morton for many years. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Curtis Crotwell and Mable Massey Crotwell; wife, Willie Grace White Crotwell; brother, Billy Ray Crotwell and sister, Elizabeth Hegwood. He is survived by his children, Mike Crotwell and wife, Gary of Crystal Springs and Van Crotwell and wife, Becky of Hattiesburg; 9 grandchildren, Steve Crotwell, Kevin Crotwell, Stephanie Stringer (Jonathan), Chris Daughdrill (Lauren), Chris Crotwell (Leann), Shaun Crotwell (Carmen), Jason Crotwell (Leslie), Brent Robinson (Crystal) and Bridgett Griffin (Evan); 20 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Helen Jean Crotwell of Morton; a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers were Steve Crotwell, Kevin Crotwell, Jason Crotwell, Shaun Crotwell, Chris Daughdrill and Chris Crotwell.
