Albert G. Garcia, 77, passed away Sun. Oct. 17, 2010 at the G.V. Sonny Montgomery V.A. Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held Sun. Oct. 24, 2010 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 2pm. Sun. Oct. 24, 2010 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Interment will be held 9am. Wed. Nov. 3, 2010 at the Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA.
Mr. Garcia was a native and longtime resident of Brackettville, TX, lived in New Orleans, LA for 25 years and has been a resident of Pearl, MS since July 2010. He retired from the U.S. Army in 1975 after 25 years of service and was also an accomplished builder and contractor. Mr. Garcia was also a very loving family man.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Garcia of Pearl, MS; five daughters, Deborah June of CA, Catherine of OR, Cynthia of Pearl, MS, Sandra of Clinton, MS and Melissa of Richland, MS; one sister, Rosa Guerra of San Antonia, TX; two brothers, Manuel Garcia of Brackettville, TX and Carlos Garcia of Dallas, TX and 11 grandchildren.
