SERVICES: 12 NOON SATURDAY, 9/11/2010 AT MCLAURIN HEIGHTS UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
BURIAL: LAKEWOOD MEMORIAL PARK
VISITATION: 6-8 PM FRIDAY
Rudy Hickman, Sr., age 87, passed away Thursday, September 09, 2010 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation is 6-8 pm Friday at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Services are 12 noon Saturday at McLaurin Heights United Methodist Church in Pearl with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson.
Mr. Hickman was a native of Neshoba County and a longtime resident of Rankin County. He was a member of McLaurin Heights United Methodist Church in Pearl where he was co-founder of the Food Pantry. Mr. Hickman was a WW II Army Veteran and retired as a Senior Insurance Claims Adjustor.
His first wife, Mary Frances Hickman and daughter, Joyce Freeman precedes him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Hickman of Pearl; son, Rudy Hickman, Jr. and wife Laura of Cumming, GA. He is also survived by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to McLaurin Heights United Methodist Church Food Pantry, 325 Mary Ann Drive, Pearl, MS 39208.
