Alexander “Alex” Tullos

Alexander Taylor Tullos, 37, a resident of Salt Lake City, Utah formerly of Brandon, MS passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Intermountain Medical Center in Marray, Utah. Funeral services will be held at 12 pm Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS with interment in the Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Newton, MS. Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm Tuesday, September 17, 2019 and 11 am Wednesday at the funeral home.

Alex was a native of Brandon, MS. He was the son of Roger Lee Tullos and Bronwyn Renee Russell Tullos. He was a graduate of Brandon High School and later went on to fulfill his greater calling by serving in the United States Marines where he served active duty from 2001-2010 two tours in Iraq of which the first was in 2003 and the second was in 2006 and a year in Okinawa. He loved his family and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Alex was preceded in death by his grandfathers; Vernon Lee Tullos and Benjamin Anding Russell.

Alex is survived by his children, Aurianna Tullos and Raegan Tullos; parents, Roger Lee Tullos and Bronwyn Renee Russell Tullos; sister, Elizabeth Boszor (Kelly); grandmothers, Norma Russell and Sybil Tullos; aunts and uncles, Sigrid and Ronnie Garner, Jann and Mike Kenney, Cherry and Larry Collum and Lynn and Rolan Tullos; other relatives include a sister, Claire Case and a brother Jeffery Stuart; aunt June Hollis; and a host of other family and friends.
