Alfred Lee Phillips Morton Mr. Alfred Lee Phillips, age 89 a resident of Morton passed away on Monday, September 28, 2015 at Brandon Court Nursing Home in Brandon. Visitation was held 12pm-2pm Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Funeral service was held 2pm Wednesday in the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with private family burial in Piney Grove Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Mr. Phillips was born in Smith County on September 2, 1926. He enjoyed being outdoors gardening, fishing and squirrel hunting. Alfred loved to brag on his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved his family very much and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Merley Lee Phillips and Clemmer Frances Hales Phillips; wife, Ruby Nell Phillips and brothers, Earl and Cecil Phillips. He is survived by his children, Kelsie Phillips of Morton and Ricky Phillips (Cindy) of Brandon; 3 grandchildren; Brad Phillips, Christina Phillips and Natalie Phillips; 3 great grandchildren, Kyler Phillips, Cole Phillips and Ally Claire Magee; brothers, Opal Phillips (Janell) of Brandon and Henry Phillips (Nita) of Polkville and a host of friends. Pallbearers were Randy Phillips, Mitchell White, James Johnson, Shan Arender, Chester White and Nollie White.
