Alice Faye Tadlock, 75, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 22, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Born December 20, 1937 in Scott County, she was preceded in death by her parents Buford and Ruth Phillips Gilbert.
Faye is survived by her husband of 55 years, Baker Tadlock; sons Barry Tadlock (Lauren) and Keith Tadlock (Kellie); and daughter Kim Boolos (Eddie). She is also survived by one brother, Butch Gilbert and 5 grandchildren; Steven and Summer Tadlock, Brooke and Brea Rose Boolos,
Jonathan Tadlock; 2 step grandchildren Jason and Taylor Thigpen.
She was a longtime resident of Clinton, MS and worked for the Clinton Public School for over 25 years. She later moved to Madsion, MS to be closer to her children and grandchildren whom she invested her life in and loved dearly.
Faye had a great love for family and friends and her soft heart and gentle spirit will be forever be remembered by the many who loved her.
The family extends heartfelt appreciation to the devoted caregivers at the Rose Garden at the Orchard in Madison for the wonderful care give during her stay.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11am Wednesday September 25, 2013 from the chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest. Rev. Keith Tonkel will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5pm-8pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment in Carr Church Cemetery
