Alice Amelia RobbinsGulde, MSAlice Amelia Robbins, 89, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013 at her granddaughter’s home in Pearl.  Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00pm Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Gulde United Methodist Church in Brandon.  Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 8:00pm Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon and 2:00pm until 3:00pm Thursday and the church.  Interment will follow the service in the Gulde cemetery.
She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and amazing grandmother.  She was a homemaker and belonged to the Shiloh Homemakers Club who won numerous sewing awards.  She was also a bookkeeper for Jim Buck Ross for many years.  She enjoyed her last years at home with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C.W. Robbins; her two brothers, and her five sisters; two grandchildren, Jerrie Lee Jones and Deanna Carol; and two great-grandchildren, Paxton Mathew Withington, and Anna Grace Dalsin.
She is survived by her four children, Carolyn Jones,  (Dean) of Gulde, MS, Patsy Ballard (Terry) of Atwood, KS, Connie Robinson (Joe) of Gulde, MS, and Stacey Robbins; her sister, Lottie Navarre of Memphis, TN; grandchildren, Karen Ward (Cliff), Lisa Jones Dalsin (Gerald), Jessica Withington (Mathew), Luke Robinson, Emily Jones, and Bryon Robinson and fiance Crystal White; 9 great-grandchildren; and a very special caregiver, Sherryl Denson.
