Mrs. Allene Creel, age 99, a resident of Pulaski passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at MS. Care Center in Morton.  Visitation will be held 9am-11am Friday, July 19, 2019 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.  Services will be held at 11am Friday at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton with burial in Pulaski Cemetery.  There will be NO Graveside service.  Bro. Mickey Walls will officate the service.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Mrs. Allene was born in Scott County on May 2, 1920.  She was  a Nursing Assistant at MS. Care Center for many years and also did private care giving for many families.  Allene was known for her quilting and will be missed by the quilting ladies at Independence United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed caring for her grandchildren as they were growing up and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John M. Lockert; children, Johnnie Fay Clark, James M. Lockert and William “Bill” Lockert; grandchildren, Anna Catherine Lockert and Bradley Miles Lockert; brother, Waylon Lewis.

She is survived by her children, Robert Lynn “Bob” Lockert of Pulaski and Joe. A. Lockert (Becky) of Morton; 11 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Dakota Lockert, Luther “Rooster” Stevens, Jake Stevens, Johnny Lockert, Reese Ragland, Caden Hilt and William Hilt.
