Allie Mae Duncan, 84, died on December 11, 2010 at Bedford Care Center in Newton, Mississippi.
Services will be held on Tuesday, December 14th, 2010, at Ott & Lee Chapel in Forest. with Randall Creel officiating. Mrs. Duncan will be laid to rest in the Damascus Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents Robert L. Wolverton and Elizabeth Young Wolverton and by her husband William "Billy" Duncan.
She is survived by one brother, Bradley Wolverton of Morton, Mississippi, one son, Rev. Larry Duncan (Pequita) of Lake, Mississippi and one daughter Brenda Creel (Randall) of Forest, Mississippi. She is also survived by three grandchildren; Nicole Smith (Jason) of Lake, Mississippi, Natalie Emmons (Joey) of Lake, Mississippi, and Dr. Bradley Creel of Dallas, Texas. She had four great grandchildren; Tanner Smith, Toby Smith, Tallie Johnston and Tate Emmons.
Mrs. Duncan was born in the Damascus community, near Sebastopol, Mississippi, and was a lifelong resident of Scott County. She was a homemaker and was active in community organizations, including the Order of the Eastern Star and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a member of East Forest Baptist Church, Forest, Mississippi. Miss Allie loved her family so much. She will be remembered by those who knew her and cared for her, by her constant smile and singing of hymns.
