Funeral services will be conducted at 11am Sunday, July 11, 2010 at the Polkville United Pentecostal Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Douglas Belgard, Rev. Carl Hall, Rev.J.E. Burgess, Rev. Barron Price and Rev. Carl Boothe will officiate the services. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton will be in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. LaPrarie was born in Harrisburg, La. Shes was a homemaker, and a member of the Trenton Pentecostal Church. She was well respected and loved by all who knew her. Her family and friends will greatly miss her.
She was preceded in death by her parents Maurice Boothe and Docia Eubanks Boothe and her loving husband Rev. A.M. Laprarie, and her great grand-son Justin Harrison.
Mrs. LaPrarie is survived by her children Voncelia ""Vee" Harrison of Brandon, James (Charlene) LaPrarie of Polkville, Sue (Tim) Hales of Polkville, and Gail (Richard) Barham of Polkville. She is also survived by her sisters-in- law Mildred Boothe of Harrisburg, Lena Beaubouef of Bay Town, Tx and Zola Book of Winnsboro, La. Included in her survivors are a legacy of 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be Chris Harrison, George Harrison, Mike Hales, Shan Hales, Joseph Barham and Russ Beatty.
