Alva Horn

Alva Glen Horn, 78, passed away Mon. June 15, 2020 at his home in Brandon, MS. Graveside Services will be held at 12pm on Thurs. June 18, 2020 at Fannin Baptist Church Cemetery in Fannin, MS. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS is handling arrangements.

Mr. Horn, son of the late Curtis M. and Hilda Horn, was born on Dec. 29, 1941 in Carthage, MS. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and an active member at First Baptist Church, Fannin. His influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew him. He loved his family, his Lord Jesus Christ, his church and his farm.

Mr. Horn is survived by his wife, and the love of his life of 55 years, Judy Roberson Horn of Brandon, MS; his children, Steven Horn (Lisa) of Madison, AL, Kimberly Knowles (Chris) of Sarasota, FL and Brittany Horn of Brandon, MS; grandchildren, Kayley Horn of Madison, AL, Lauren Knowles of Sarasota, FL, Courtney Horn of Madison, AL; Ryan Knowles of Sarasota, FL and Owen Horn of Brandon, MS; sister, Marilyn Strum (BT) of Carthage, MS; brother, Kenny Horn (Cheryl) of Lake, MS and a number of sister/brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Fannin, MS Building Fund at 101 Church Rd. Brandon, MS 39047.
