Amanda Maria Jackson, 21, went to be with the Lord Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Patients Choice Medical Center in Belzoni, MS as the result of an automobile accident in Isola, MS Saturday night. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 20, 2012 from 4 – 8 pm and Wednesday, November 21, 2012 from 11 am until the 12 Noon Service in the Chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS.
Amanda was a 2010 graduate of Brandon High School; received an associate degree from Hinds Community College and was attending Delta State University, studying education. She worked at Backdraft Restaurant in Cleveland, MS and also worked for NMTC for Patrick Ridgeway.
Daughter, granddaughter, best friend, sister, and girlfriend. We could not have asked for a greater joy in our lives. May each thought of her bring a smile upon your face because she deserves it. Although we lost a beautiful person, we have gained another angel to watch over us.
Survivors include her parents, Robbie and Andrea Wade of Brandon, MS; a sister, Ashlea Nicole Wade of Brandon, MS; three brothers, Austin Monroe Jackson of Louisiana, Robbie Chase Wade and Justin Blake Wade both of Brandon, MS; her longtime boyfriend, Thomas Michael Cox, Jr. of Brandon, MS; her maternal grandmother, Maria Elena Bamberg of Brandon; and an uncle, Kenneth Wade Brown of Brandon, MS.
