Amelia “Amy” Denise Kendrick Jenkins, 46, died Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Inverness Homes in Inverness, MS. Visitation is 5 – 8 pm Thursday, July 22, 2010 and 9 – 10 am Friday, July 23, 2010 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 10 am Friday from the Chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow at 12:30 pm in the Pachuta Cemetery in Pachuta, MS.
Mrs. Jenkins was a native of Dermott, Arkansas and had lived in Rankin County, MS for a number of years. She attended Pearl High School and was a former resident of Florence and Richland, MS. She had lived in Forest, MS for several years. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, Aaron Matthew Jenkins of Forest, MS; her father, Jack Anderson Carpenter of Scottsdale, Arizona; her mother, Mary Lynn Richardson of Richland, MS; her daughter, Kadie Lynn Herrington; two sons, Wayne Herrington & wife, Sheena and Daniel Herrington & wife, Heather all of Richland, MS; step-son, Shannon Matthew Jenkins of Delta City, MS; one brother, Jack Anderson, Jr. and wife, Laurie of Berlin, Maryland; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
