Ana Grace Weaver, 95, formerly of National City, CA, joined her heavenly Father on July 14, 2011 at River Oaks Hospital in Flowood, MS. Visitation is 10: 30am Monday, July 18, 2011 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, with funeral services to follow at 11:30am in the Chapel. Interment will be in Lakeland Place Garden Park Cemetery in Brandon, MS.
Mrs. Weaver was born in Montgomery, AL on August 21, 1915 to Alonzo Perkins and Icey Virginia McCarver Perkins. Ana Grace was a member of Highland Avenue Baptist Church in National City, CA and she was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Weaver loved to cook for friends and family. Her children and grandchildren were the love of her life.
Mrs. Weaver’s sense of humor was a delight to everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her first husband of 48 years, Del Erwin and her second husband of 22 years, Ermon D. Weaver and also a son, Michael D. Erwin.
Survivors include her son, Harold E. & (Farris) of Cottonwood, AZ; daughters, Sharron S. & (Robert) Wallace of Durant, OK and Mary L. & (Joe) Collum of Brandon, MS; sister, Mary Helen Finnerty of National City, CA; and 12 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Her family wants to give special thanks for the loving care Mrs. Weaver received at Brandon Court. Memorials may be made to Brandon Gideon’s, P.O. Box 324, Brandon, MS 39043-0324.
