On March 19, 2025, Aniesha Dawn Smith Earles passed from this life in Merit Health Rankin. Aniesha was born to Gerald Lee Smith and Helen Marie Borges Farmer on April 2, 1957, in Torrance, California. Aniesha was a resident of the Robinhood Lake Community, Brandon, MS.

Aniesha is survived by her stepmother Eileen Smith (Mom), children: daughter/niece Lezleigh Sybil Lott Norton; son Gene Justin Borges Earles; grandchildren: grandson/nephew JT Norton and grandson Benson Earles. Siblings: sisters Lisa Lott, Sharon Manassa (Karim), brothers Steve Howell (Virginia), Brian Smith (Tori), sister-in-law Elisha Smith, best friend Darla Shealy and several nieces and nephews.

Aniesha is preceded in death by her mother Helen Marie Borges Farmer, her father Gerald Lee Smith, brother David Smith, granddaughter/niece Izabella Marie Norton, maternal grandparents Gene William and Anna Elizabeth Borges, paternal grandparents Earl and Laverne Smith.

Aniesha was a retired Rankin County School District employee. Aniesha was employed for 20 plus years as a school bus driver, custodian and assistant teacher. She took pride in her job over her 20 plus years. She loved each and everyone of the kids that she encountered.

While we are mourning her passing, we take comfort knowing that we will all be reunited with her again.

Aniesha was so very loved. She also made sure her family knew how much she loved them.

A celebration of her life will be held on April 22, 2025, 5:30 pm at Bethel Baptist Church, Brandon, MS.
