Ann Bateman

Mrs. Ann Marilyn Bateman, age 73 of Richland, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 with her family by her side.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 4:00pm from Hickory Ridge Baptist Church. Visitation will start at 2:00pm. Burial will follow the service in Glenwood Memorial Park Cemetery.

She was born in New York City, New York on December 16, 1947 to the late Thomas T. O’Brien and Ann T. Herlihy O’Brien. Ann was a member of Hickory Ridge Baptist Church and loved to “Shop till you drop”. She loved her family with all her heart. Ann will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Ann is survived by her children, Teresa Lydia Castro Mendez, Bill Thomas Koch (April), Leon Anderson Koch, and Teresa Ann Johnston (Shane); brother, Michael O’Brien (Clare); grandchildren, Jordan Koch, Michael Koch, Amber Cook, Justin Cook (Faith), Lillie Johnston, Kyle Koch (Holly), Destry Koch, Campble Nixon, Jose Estaban Reyes Castro, Carlos Emanuel Reyes Castro (Angely), Stefanie Marie Reyes Castro (Luis), and Gamalier Andre’ Reyes Castro; great-grandchildren, Riley Koch, Royce Koch, Ka-Myiah Frazier, Tiffany Marie Reyes Melendez, and Diego Alejandro Reyes Reyes; a host of other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard Bateman; and brother, Dennis O’Brien.
