Bailey was born in Jackson, MS on Oct. 1, 1994, lived five years in Alabama, and has been a longtime resident of Brandon, MS. She was a sophomore at Hinds CC, and she was very dedicated to her work with Soul Shine Pizza Factory in Flowood, MS. As an inquisitive soul, she could often be found with a book in hand. She had a personality that enabled her to easily connect with people. She had an easy smile, was quick to laugh or offer a shoulder. In being true to her generous nature, it was decided that Baileys’ organs be donated so that others may be spared the loss of a loved one. Bailey’s ability to love was boundless, especially for her son, Sawyer, and her family.
She is survived by her parents, Stephen and Julie Smith; her son, Sawyer Reed Smith; grandparents, Carolyn Smith, C.B. Reed III, and Donna Reed; great grandmothers, Geynell Hagood, Frances Johnson, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved Bailey very much.
Bailey was preceded in death by her grandfather, Tom Smith; uncle, Bo Smith; great uncle, Jimmy Smith; great grandfathers, Clurin Battle Reed, Jr. and Ulay Johnson; and her great grandmothers, Julia Boozer Reed, Nell Johnson and Estelle Smith.
