Anna Blanche (Sue) Noblin Brown, 86, died Saturday, January 12, 2013 at her home in Forest.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at Forest United Methodist Church with burial in the Homewood United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Paul McDonald will officiate. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Brown was born April 14, 1926 in Homewood, MS and was a resident of Forest for 61 years. She was retired from the Thomas Great M Department Store, where she had been a long-time employee. She was an active member of the Forest United Methodist Church until her death.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Talmadge (Tack) Brown; her parents, Henry Clay Noblin, Sr. and Minnie Stokes Noblin; 9 brothers and 1 sister.
She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Brown Powe (David) of Forest and Mindy Brown of Nashville, TN; and son, Andy Brown (Jane) of Mobile, AL; one brother, Thomas Noblin (Elaine) of St. Joseph, LA; 5 grandchildren, Chris Powe (Robin) of Brandon, Robin Powe Smith (Trey) of Southaven, Angela Powe Mingo (Michael) of Wiscasset, ME, Michael Brown (Doris) of Lakeland, FL, and Mark Brown (Tesa) of Mobile, AL; and 11 great-grandchildren: David, Olivia and Joshua Powe; Chapman and Anna Powell Smith; Ollie Anna and Tyler Martins; Shelby Jason and Summer Brown; and Houston and Ashley Brown; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Chris Powe, Michael Brown and Mark Brown; grandsons-in-law, Trey Smith and Michael Mingo; and close family friend Ryan Reeves. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Luther E. Tadlock Sunday School Class of the Forest United Methodist Church.
