Anne Noel Hamilton, age 82, a resident of Flowood, died Friday December 18, 2015 at the St. Dominic Hospital following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:15am Tuesday December 22, 2015 from the chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest with interment to follow at Harperville Memorial Park. Rev. Ty Pigott will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10am to service time at 11:15.
Anne was born in Sebastopol to her parents George A. Noel and Alice Little Noel on Monday December 18, 1933. She later married Dr. James C. Hamilton who preceded her in death in 2007, after 52 years of marriage. She was an active member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Jackson where she was a member of Dr. Robert Battle’s Adult Sunday School Class and served on the Finance Committee and many other committees. She was a Certified Public Accountant until her retirement in 2014. She loved her family and especially enjoyed her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Hamilton is survived by her two children; Lee Anne Robinson and her husband Ward of Brandon, William James Hamilton and his fiance’ Deborah Pohl of Hoboken, N.J. a brother; Karl Noel and his wife Sarah of Kenner,LA a sister; Lynn Crechale of Forest. She is also survived by her two grandchildren; Mary Everett Robinson and James T. Robinson both of Brandon, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Raymond Noel, Danny Noel, Randy Noel, Chris Noel, Raymond Noel, Jr and Joey Crain.
In lieu of flowers, memorial s may be made to Woodland Hills Baptist Church, P.O. Box 4227, Jackson, MS 39216 or to Frances Rushton Memorial Scholarship Fund 620 Independence Rd. Flowood, MS 39232.
