Anne Marie Lodes, age   66 ,  passed away on  January 6th  ,  2018  .  Anne Marie was born in Brandon on June 28, 1951, daughter of Seidel Lloyd and Orene Parker Robinson who preceded her in death.  She graduated Brandon High School, 1969, and Jackson Commercial College,   1971.    She worked at Busick’s Department Store, 10 years, Collins & Corbin, CPSs, 10 years, owner of rental business   with her husband, Bob,  29 years.   She considered most of her education was acquired by taught (bought) lessons   through her work-related education.

She is survived by her husband of  29 years,  Robert R. (Bob) Lodes, one daughter Christy Dixon (Lance) of Brandon, two sons,  Jason Bush of Jackson and Grady  Lodes (Kristen)of Fair Hope, AL, with seven wonderful grandchildren,  a host of very dear nieces and nephews and  two brothers,  Edward Robinson, Foley, AL and Johnny Robinson (Teresa),  Florence, MS;  she was preceded in death by her sister,  Alice Walker Gill,  and brother,  James O. Hollingsworth, both  of Brandon.

Visitation will be held at Ott & Lee Funeral Home, Highway 80 East, Brandon, on Friday, January 12, 2018, from 5 – 9 P.M.

Services will be held  at St. Paul Catholic Church,  5971 Highway 25, Flowood, MS on Saturday, January 13, 2018, with  visitation at 10 A.M. and funeral at 11:00 A.M.     You are invited to a   Celebration of Life lunch in the Family Life Center at the Church following the service.

Anne Marie was a loving and involved mother and grandmother, who   dedicated her life to caring for and   supporting her family.  Throughout her life,  she had a heart that was large enough to include any person that needed love and encouragement.

Bob and Marie shared an avid love for traveling.  Some of these trips include:   Aruba, Peru and Machu Pichu,  Africa, Paris , London, Bath, Stonehedge, Egypt, Israel, Jordan,  and Key West, Florida,  Denver, Colorado, Gulf Shores, Alabama, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Orlando, Florida.  Marie also was blessed to have had girl friends, Charla, Suzanne, Sharon, Martha,  Nedra, Kathy, Kathy, Laura  and Donna that loved to travel and were gracious enough to invite her to places like Spain, a 10-day Mediterranean cruise,   four  4-day New York trips,  10-days in Geneva, Switzerland,   Savannah, GA and Charleston, NC, 7-day Carribean cruise, Biltmore, 7-day Alaska cruise, two Ireland, San Francisco, California, Napa Valley and Boston.

She was an active member of   St. Paul’s Catholic Church where she served as Eucharistic Minister at  Church and to the homebound.   She considered her best day was helping someone or making someone  laugh.  She  loved  the Lord  unconditionally .  He was the Light of her life.

Pallbearers will be Jack McKee, Pat Pipitone, Jim Hoffman, Lou Ianelli,  Kevin Webb, Bobby Waites, Bill Barksdale  and Brian Hall.

Anne  Marie was a faithful member of the Brandon Garden Club and a previous member of the Red Hat Society where many close friends were established.  In lieu of flowers please send donations to Brandon Garden Club, P.
