Annie Lee Crapps, age 86, a resident of Morton passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Ms. Care Center in Morton. Visitation was held 6-9pm Sunday at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton and 9am-3pm Monday at the funeral home. Funeral service was held 3pm Monday, December 23, 2013 at Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Parkway Baptist Cemetery. Rev. Claude Shufelt and Rev. Earl Clark officiated the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Mrs. Crapps was born January 7, 1927 in Holmes County. She loved cooking for and taking care of her family. Annie loved the Lord and reading her Bible and listening to gospel music. She loved her family very much and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee Sims and Mary Jones Sims; husband, John Wesley Crapps and 1 brother.

She is survived by her 8 children, Jewel Steadman (Bill) of Morton, Lela Darrow (Kenneth) of Canton, Herbert Crapps (Wautese) of Morton, J.R. Crapps (Carolyn) of Morton, Allen Crapps (Wanda) of Morton, Christine Schneider (Chuck) of Edwards, Estelle Mills (Danny) of Vicksburg and William Crapps (Lora) of Pearl; 13 grandchildren, Wesley Mattix, Wayne Darrow, James Darrow, Mary Darrow, Karen Thornton, Lanae Harper, Tonya Rushing, Carrie Wallace, Caleb Little, Jeremy Mills, Justin Mills, William Yancy Crapps and Shasta Shelley; 6 step granddaughters, Ashley, Shelby, Stephanie, Beth, Peggy and Lynn; 1 step grandson, Billy Thompson; 12 great grandchildren; 15 step great grandchildren; roommate at Ms. Care Center, Clara Renfroe; special friend, Winnie McLemore and a host of friends.

Pallbearers were Wesley Mattix Jr., Caleb Lettle, James Darrow, Yancy Crapps, Wayne Darrow, Jeremy Mills and Justin Mills. Honorary pallbearers were the staff at Ms. Care Center.
