Ann W. Shepherd, 84, died Sunday, April 05, 2015 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. She was buried on Easter Sunday, April 05, 2015 in the Old Brandon Cemetery next to her mother and father.
Mrs. Shepherd was a native of Rankin County and lived most of her life in Hinds County. She was the daughter of Allen Vardaman (A.V.) and Lilly Mae Mauldin Smith. She was married to Tom Shepherd. Mrs. Shepherd was a bookkeeper and worked for Mid-South Computer Company for over 40 years. She loved to bowl and play other games but in her quiet time she enjoyed spending time with a good book to read. Mrs. Shepherd loved her family and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Mrs. Shepherd was preceded in death by her parents, Allen Vardaman (A.V.) and Lilly Mae Mauldin Smith and her brother, Allen Currie Smith.
Mrs. Shepherd is survived by her son, Ralph V. Wilson and his wife Wanda of Brandon; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two nieces and a host of friends.
