Mrs. Arcola Watkins, age 91, a resident of Morton passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at her home surrounded by family.  Visitation will be held 12pm-2pm Friday, December 28, 2018 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.  Funeral service will be held 2pm Friday, December 28, 2018 at the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton.  Burial will be in Morton Memorial Gardens.  Bro. Barron Price will officiate the services.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Mrs. Watkins was born in Neshoba County on August 25, 1927.  Arcola loved the Lord and was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Morton.  She loved to go fishing and work in her flowers and grow roses.  Arcola loved traveling with her husband, Linzy on the 18 wheeler.  She enjoyed cooking for her family and having everybody together.  Arcola will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ellis Tucker and Cleo Neese Tucker; husband, Linzy Watkins; son, Charles Watkins, brothers, Arnold "Shine" Tucker and Carl "Bud" Tucker; grandson, Steve Watkins; sisters, Annie Moore and Mary Winters.

She is survived by her children, Danny Watkins (Ann) of Gulfport, Sharon Massey Withers (Wayne) of Morton and Joy Short of Morton; sister, Iona Parkman (Douglas) of Polkville; brothers, Joe Tucker of Morton and William Tucker (Becky) of Morton; 8 grandchildren, Charlice Watkins, Todd Watkins, Chris Massey (Jasmine), Cody Massey, Eric Watkins, Matthew Short, Nicole Short and Kyle Watkins (Kayla); 5 step grandchildren, Brandon Fernald, Christopher Reynolds, Jade Bryant, Kayleanna and McKenzie; 1 great great grandchild, Linzy Thomas Ray Myers; 8 great grandchildren, Hayden Massey, Justin Myers, Tyler Myers, Taylon Short, Ethan Watkins, Ty Watkins, Kaden Short and Zayee Short; daughter-in-law, Helen Watkins of Morton; sisters-in-law, Dolly Mooney of Laurel, Janette Beckham (Fred) of Escatawpa and Sybil Settlemire (RC) of Morton a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Chris Massey, Cody Massey, Chris Runnels, Brandon Fernald, Ethan Watkins, Matthew Short, Kyle Watkins and Ty Watkins.

Memorials may be made in her name to the First United Pentecostal Church of Morton.
