Artie Trimble

December 18, 1974 — August 20, 2021

Brandon, MS

Arthur (Artie) Bryan Trimble,46, of Brandon passed from this life on Friday, August 20, 2021, at River Oaks Hospital.  Born on December 18, 1974, he was a son to the late William (Bill) Trimble and Ann Shoemake Trimble.

Artie served his country and spent 24 years in the United States Air Force.  He served in Afghanistan, Qutar, Saudia Arabia supporting Enduring Freedom.  He also served overseas in Iceland and Italy.  As much as he enjoyed serving his country, he more looked forward to returning home to his wife and family -the love of his life, Tawnya and his boys Josh and Ethan.  During their time in the Air Force he and his family were stationed in California, Texas and South Dakota and he returned to serve his last years in California where he retired in 2019.  After retirement, Artie pursued his education.  He recently obtained his Masters Degree in Human Resources Management from the Golden Gate University.  During his free time, Artie enjoyed hunting , shooting, motor cross, baseball, college football- with his wife and sons.

Artie never met a stranger – he could always find common ground and start up a conversation with just about anyone.  He loved to share stories of his family and was never without a proud picture to go with it.  Some of his proudest moments in life came from his two sons – Josh joining the Air Force and watching Ethan pursue his love of baseball.  This also included watching Josh become a dad to his only grandson, Greyson.  Artie was an avid hunter that found tremendous joy in being in the woods. Although Artie has departed from our lives, his treasured memory will hold a special place in the hearts of his loved ones.

Those left to continue walking down the path of life in Artie’s absence include his wife of 25 years, Tawnya Trimble and sons Josh (Aspen) Trimble of Montgomery, AL and Ethan Trimble; one brother Bill (Kim) Trimble of Brandon, MS; Mother-in-law Bonnie (Dave) Seigler; Sister in law Krystal Rector; Brother-in-law David Rector; Nephews Reed Trimble, Matthew Parkerson, Christian Ticknor and Devin Cruz; Niece Madeline Trimble; and one beloved Grandson Greyson Trimble.

Artie was preceded in death by his parents Ann Shoemake Trimble and Father William (Bill) Trimble.
