Aubury Myers

Aubury K. Myers, age 57, a resident of Lawrence, passed away Friday, December 27, 2019, following a brief illness.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Sunday, December 29, 2019, at the chapel of the OTT & LEE Funeral Home in Forest.  Rev. Joey Smith will officiate.  Visitation will be held from 5pm to 8pm Saturday, December 28, 2019, and again Sunday prior to the services from 12pm to 1:30pm.  Private family time is from 1:30pm-2pm.  The family will remain after the service to visit with friends.  Her final resting place will be in the Ridge Cemetery.

Aubury was born on Tuesday, May 22, 1962,  in Forest to her parents, Herman Monk, Sr. and Deloris Goss Monk.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.  She loved her family and visiting friends, the outdoors and was respected by all who knew her.  She was employed as a Clerk at Peco in the Hatchery division.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Neze Moore and a grandson, Justin Bray.

Survivors include her 4 children:  John Bray (Brittany) of Forest, Kevin Bray (Casey) also of Forest, Jessica Stokes (Matthew) of Philadelphia,  and Catlin Myers (Mary) of Forest.  She is also survived by a brother, Herman Monk, Jr. (Angie) of Forest, and a legacy of 22 grandchildren, and a host of friends.

Pallbearers are Dusty Bray, Tyler Bray, Ethan Walker, Austin Myers, Justin Stewart, Justin Risher, and Nathan Bray.  Honorary pallbearers are Laken Bray, Caden Myers, Eann Myers, and Trenton Bray.
