Barbara Boyd

Barbara Lemmons Boyd, 86, passed away Thurs. Dec. 19, 2019 at Merit Health River Oaks Hospital in Flowood, MS. Visitation will be held on Sat. Dec. 21, 2019 from 5pm-7pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 12pm on Sun. Dec. 22, 2019 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in the Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.

Mrs. Boyd was born on Feb. 14, 1933 in Starkville, MS to the late Frank Lemmons and Grace Tempelton Lemmons.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra Staten (James); son, David K. Boyd (Julia Mann Boyd); six grandchildren, Chrissy McCoy (Nathan), Robby Staten (Ruth), Katie Lester (Torrey), Cody Staten, Haley Boyd Derrig (Mike) and David Austin Boyd and eight great grandchildren, Gracie McCoy, Caedon Stafford, Nathan McCoy, Addie Kate Stafford, Tyde Staten, Janey McCoy, Kemp Staten and Bennett Derrig. Mrs. Boyd is also preceded in death by her husband, David Kemp Boyd Sr. and six siblings.
