Barbara McRae Hopper

Barbara McRae Hopper, age 93, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, February 14, 2025.

A Celebration of Barbara’s Life will be Monday, February 17, 2025, at 3:00pm at Ott and Lee Funeral Home Brandon with visitation starting at 1:00pm. Burial will follow in Brandon Memorial Gardens.

The daughter of the late Molly Burkett and Conrad McRae. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Margaret McRae, Louise McRae Kearse, and Marjorie McRae Riser Rosenborough, brothers Fred McRae, John McRae, and Richard McRae.

She is survived by her sons Richard McRae Hopper and wife Donna, Auburn, AL and David Carson Hopper and his wife Tammy of Brandon, MS; Grandchildren Bailey Hopper Kirkland and her husband John, Owensboro, KY, Patricia Hopper Butts and husband Caleb, Mobile, AL, David Carson Hopper, Brandon, MS, Richard McRae Hopper, Denver, CO, John Lewis Miller Hopper, Brandon, MS, Molly Rebecca Hopper, Hamburg, Germany, and Adaline Marion Hopper, Brandon, MS; Great Grandchildren Abigail Betty Butts, Jackson David Kirkland, Joshua Lewis Butts, Mae Sumner Kirkland, Elizabeth Marion Butts, Lucas Michael Butts and Drew Miller Kirkland.
