Barbara Jane Sumrall, 59, passed away Thurs. July 2, 2015 at her home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held on Fri. July 3, 2015 from 5pm-8pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 2pm Sat. July 4, 2015 at the Ott and Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS. Graveside Services will be held at 2pm on Sun. July 5, 2015 at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.
Mrs. Sumerall was born in Laurel, MS and has been a resident of Rankin County, MS most of her life. She was known as a second mom, who was a hard working, caring, and loving person. Mrs. Sumerall was a gardener for Christ.
She is survived by her mother, Tressie McCraw; 4 children, Joey Thompson (Susan), Angie Reeves (Curtis), Jennifer Sullivan (Shaun) and Kevin Sumrall (Katie); 2 sisters, Gail Grice and Janice Phillips; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Mrs. Sumerall is preceded in death by her husband, Glantz W. Sumerall.
