Barbara Thrash

Barbara Kay Thrash, 66, a
resident of Leesburg died Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Rolling Acres Retirement
Center in Raleigh, MS. Graveside services were held 4 pm Monday, October 29,
2012 at Leesburg Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Rick Hammerstrom officiated the
services. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton was in charge of arrangements.

Barbara was of native of
Hinds Co. but lived most of her life in Rankin Co. She was the daughter of G.J.
and Elsie McKay Thrash. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, playing the piano,
scrap booking, her church, church activities and not to forget Elvis Presley.
She loved her family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to
her life. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Barbara was preceded in
death by her parents, G.J. and Elsie McKay Thrash.

Barbara is survived by
her brother, Jimmy (Helen Fleming) Thrash; nieces, Chandy (Chris) Lee and
Cheryl Thrash; great nephew, John Elliott Jolley; great nieces, Laura Alice
Lee, Lydia Lee and Lucy Lee; many cousins and a host of friends.
