Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Ann Wilson Vaughn, age 75, and a resident of Madison will be conducted at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 from the Apostolic Revival Center in Ridgeland with Bro. Jason Stone and Bro. Steve White officiating.
Music for the service will be provided by Randy Burrell, Mark Roberson and Allison Roberson.
Interment will follow in the presence of the immediate family at 2:30 pm at the Vernon Baptist Cemetery in Kemper County under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 9:30 am – 11:30 am at the church.
She was born January 5, 1942 in Neshoba County and passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017 at the home of her daughter.
A native of Neshoba County, Mrs. Vaughn was a homemaker and will be remembered for her kind, sweet, and humble spirit she demonstrated to those she came in contact with. A woman who loved her family, Mrs. Vaughn had a generous, yet protective nature about her. Sewing and fishing were favorite past times as was cooking and providing for her family. She was a Pentecostal by faith and a member of the Apostolic Revival Center at Ridgeland.
She is preceded in death by her son: Kalvin Lee Vaughn; her parents: Arthur Pierce and Lucy Bell Coats Wilson; two sisters: Sylvia Taylor and Mary Parker; and two brothers: Ernest Wilson and Arthur Wilson.
Survivors include her husband of over 57 years: James O. Vaughn of Madison; five children: James M. Vaughn of Madison; Judy (Mark) Hogan of Florence; Sandra Burrell of Sebastopol; Peggy Vaughn and Rubie (Larry) Gray, both of Florence; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one brother: Charles Wilson of Forest; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Andrew Gray, Amos Burrell, Matthew Burrell, Carl Burrell, Daniel Burrell and Shawn Adams.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Mark Roberson, James Wilkerson, Jimmy Wilkerson, Jimmy Dunn, Josh Adams, Jacob Lindsey, and Craig Carby.
