Barbara Weaver

Barbara Elizabeth Oswalt Weaver, 80, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS.   Visitation will be 5-7pm Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.  Services will be 10am Wednesday in the chapel of the funeral home with visit starting at 9am until service.  Burial will follow at 2pm at Union Hill Cemetery in Kemper County.

Mrs. Weaver was born in Jackson, MS on September 10, 1941, to Wilburn Earl Oswalt and Evie Lee Brooks Oswalt.  Barbara retired from the Mississippi Baptist Hospital after 26 years of service on the information desk.   She also owned and operated Beauty Bazaar in Jackson from 1968 – 1995.

Survivors include her husband Robert Earl Weaver, just 43 days shy of their 63-year wedding anniversary; son, Barry (Wende) Weaver of Pelahatchie; grandchildren, Blair Minyard and Rebekah Weaver; sister, Mary Alice (Hully) Williams of Clinton and Phillis Bayly of Baton Rouge, LA; sister-in-law, Jean (Paul) Grayson of Dekalb; 6 nieces and nephews; and 13 great nieces and great nephews.   She was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Robert Bayly.
