Barbara Sanford Anderson

Funeral services for Barbara Sanford Anderson will be held Friday morning, December 26, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. from the Ott and Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Forest with Bro. Tommy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Conehatta Methodist Cemetery under the direction of Ott and Lee Funeral Home.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. on Friday morning and continue until 10:45 A.M. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Anderson, age 71, a resident of Preston, and longtime resident of Conehatta passed away December 23, 2014 at her home. Favorite past times were sewing, cooking, shopping, and traveling. She was an active member of Conehatta Baptist Church where she raised her children as long as her health permitted.
She is preceded in death by her parents: James Percy and Katherine Davidson Stewart and her first husband: Bo Sanford.
Mrs. Barbara is survived by her husband of over 28 years: Kent Anderson of Preston; three sons: Gary Sanford and his wife Delaine of Decatur; Larry Sanford and Chad Sanford, both of Preston; three grandchildren: Stewart Sanford and his wife Shelly of Preston; Katie Sanford and Bo Sanford, both of Decatur; one great-grandchild: Montana Sanford of Lake; two step-children: Todd Anderson and Heather Anderson, both of Preston; four step-grandchildren: Dustin Anderson, Hailey Anderson, Brooklynn Anderson, and Tre Savell, all of Preston.
Pallbearers will be: Stewart Sanford, Andy Posey, Ethan Copeland, Bobby Smith, Jamie Downey, and Graham Clarke.
