Becky ”Punkin” Darlene May, 23, a resident of Pelahatchie died Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at home. Funeral services were held 10 am Friday, September 9, 2011 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton with burial in the Lodebar United Methodist Church Cemetery in Pelahatchie. Visitation was held 4-8 pm Thursday and 8-9:30 am Friday at the funeral home. Rev. Larry Patrick officiated the services. Ott and Lee Funeral home in Morton was in charge of arrangements.
Becky was a native of Rankin Co. She was the daughter of Grayson and Becky Lynn Hamilton May. She was full of life and loved people. Becky loved to read and reading the Bible was one of her favorite thing to do. She loved watching NASCAR and writing Christmas Cards to the Veterans at the V.A. Nursing Home. She loved her family and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Becky was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. G.C. May of Pelahatchie and Mr. & Mrs. Cletus Hamilton of Polkville.
Becky is survived by her father & mother, Grayson & Becky Lynn Hamilton May of Pelahatchie.
