Benny Lee Hardy, 78, passed away Thurs. June 8, 2017 at his home in Pearl, MS. Visitation will be held on Sat. June 10, 2017 from 5pm-7pm and on Sun. June 11, 2017 from 1pm-1:45pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 2pm on Sun. June 11, 2017 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery in Forkville, MS.
Mr. Hardy was born in Neshoba County, MS and has been a resident of Rankin County, MS since 1974. He attended Park Place Baptist Church in Pearl, MS and was also a Shriner. Mr. Hardy retired from the Frito Lay Company after 25 years of service. He was a loving family man and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Mr. Hardy is survived by his two sons, Lee Hardy (Holly) and Tommy Hardy (Tonya); four grandchildren, Michael, Kaylee, Cassidy and Hayden Hardy; and two brothers, Jim and Clayton Hardy. Mr. Hardy was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Odell C. Hardy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital For Children, C/O Wahabi Temple, P.O. Box 2750 Jackson, MS 39207.
